Every high-end designer these days has a children’s line. Most of these lines are just logos slapped on basic boring clothing. But in the late 1950s designer, Charles James produced a line of children’s clothing as beautiful as his couture collection. The pieces were produced starting in 1956 and were inspired by the birth of his son Charles Jr.

Look at the tailoring in such a tiny jacket.

That sunsuit is one of the most beautiful pieces of children’s clothing that I have ever seen.
